We are looking for a hands-on QA / Quality Engineering Lead to build and lead the Quality Engineering function for a modern payments platform.
This is not a traditional QA management role. We’re looking for a builder and technical leader who can create automation frameworks, test infrastructure and engineering tools that make developers’ lives easier.
Strong hands-on software engineering skills, ideally Go Experience building automation frameworks, test infrastructure or internal developer tools 7+ years in QA / Quality Engineering, including leadership experience Strong knowledge of the payments domain: PSPs, acquiring, 3DS/SCA, callbacks, retries, refunds, reversals, settlement and reconciliation Strong API, integration and contract testing experience Experience with distributed and asynchronous systems SQL, logs, metrics and tracing for troubleshooting CI/CD and Git-based development workflows Experience using AI engineering tools with a disciplined approach to validation Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have: Kubernetes, cloud, event-driven architecture, observability, PCI DSS, PSD2/SCA, performance and resilience testing.
